So I said I was working on a top secret project....

Well, that didn't happen the other day at all. I decided last week that on Monday (Aug 3) I would start potty training my 2 year old daughter. She's a blessing to my life BUT apparently potty training her is not my piece of cake.

First of all is a picture of her after the first time she went potty with her treat (organic fruit snacks, is that even possible?). Cute, don't you think?

So, here is the reality of it. Today she had 3 accidents, even though I was putting her on the potty EVERY 15 minutes. Hence, why my top secret project did not get done this week. It's not so much the accidents but that she doesn't go on the potty at all, she just plain holds it! Ahhhh.....

Decor Elements: Wish this was my mudroom!

Check out this great display at convention that shows some of our great new decor elements. Decor Elements is Stampin' Up!'s home decor line. This line includes not only wall vinyl but also stencils. Please see my right sidebar to check out the catalog.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Shoppe, part 1.

Check out these great pictures from convention. The artists at SU! made this great display to show us all of our new and upcoming products. It really was something to see & to think that it was all made out of our current products, paper, and ribbon.

Oh my.....

Oh my, for real, I can't sleep. This is the third night in a row! So what am I up too? Well, I just watched Ali & Roberto on Jimmy Kimble, hung a new shelf in my stamp room closet twice (yep, I didn't read the directions all the way), and now I'm updating my blog.
I often have "sleeping" issues, they really aren't issues in the grand scheme of things but they are annoying. I was up late last night watching movies with my hubby so I ended up falling asleep in the car this afternoon on the way back from the beach (I was not driving) so here I am again last night TV!
I'm working on a top secret project for the future, well actually, about 4..... stay tuned.

We Like Demonstrators!

SU! has to be one fun place to work. Check out this video that the sales and marketing staff made for us demonstrators. DO you recognize anyone? I do!
The song was the theme from convention this year.

Stampin' Up! Legacy Room

For the past several years I have been able to travel to Riverton, Utah (about 30 min south of Salt Lake City) This is where the Stampin' Up! offices and distribution center are. The building is so beautiful and a great homage to the start of SU! in southern Utah. For this post I will concentrate on the legacy room. They have great "sets" that really show the decor line that we have and of course our stamp projects. Enjoy!

September Classes

Starting in September I will be offering 2 classes a month!! This a a change from only one class a month last year. I have decided that I LOVE teaching classes and want to step it up this year, so here we go. Once a month on a Tuesday I will offer a "Technique Tuesday" class. This class will keep you up to date on all those great techniques out there. Cost will always be $10.

The other class will be most likely on a Sunday afternoon, unless there are a lot of you that would rather have that class on another day. I'm open to changing it just let me know. The class projects will vary, but will alway be great!

QUICK & EASY DVD SCRAPBOOKSEP 19 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Eastern )

Come and make one of these great DVD scrapbooks for a friend, mother, sister, husband, or just for yourself. These make great brag books and will have space to hold 20 pictures.
You will have your choice of papers to use, that way you can make it your own.
What a hot trend to be a part of and you can say you did it yourself.

TECHNIQUE TUESDAYSEP 21 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Eastern )

Do you crave learning new stamping techniques? Want to know how to do it all? Then this is the class for you. We will meet once a month and learn a new technique that we will use on a card, an anything but a card project, and a technique card. The technique card will have all the instructions you need to recreate it later. Cost each month is $10.
