We've made it to 200 challenges! Can you believe it?! The past 200 challenges have been AMAZING! So many great layouts and so many great participants from all of you! 

I've been part of the Design Team from Challenge #1 and now the time has come for me to part ways from the team.  I've loved being a part of the team, but life has become more and more busy for us as a family.  I do plan on still creating and who knows what I'll come up with next.  :) 

Onto our 200th Challenge! The goal of the week is to use twos (2). 

How will you create using two? 

I decided to use two different designer series papers, two flowers (two times) and two layers! 

Love this look?! It's the brand new bundle from Stampin' Up! only around for May!

As You See It Challenge#199

We are getting SO close to 200!

This weeks challenge is a color challenge.  I have to admit I love these colors in home decor but struggled in making them into a card.  Of course now I have another idea for them so maybe check back later in the week and see what I come up with. 

My Adventure Baby turns 11 tomorrow so this is her birthday card from us.  Simple and full of sugar. My kiddo is a TOTAL sugar addict well, a total cake/cupcake addict anyway.  She's full of adventure and is a competitive swimmer so she requires a lot of food anyway.  ;) 

I decided to stamp on watercolor paper to give it a bit of a tooth and texture.  Sometimes I just like something a tad different in the background.

I went ahead and used some products that just happened to all be laying on my crafting counter.  I'm in the midst of a sort and purge project in my stamp room! Anyone else spring cleaning?!! 

Something about this butterfly that I cut out from background paper just calls my name!  How about you?

Just simple. 

I've made it my goal to make more birthday cards and send/give more birthday cards this year.  So I made a somewhat age neutral card for this challenge.  The birthday stamp sets are current and in the occasional catalog but the other products are retired.  Don't save those retired card bases, use them up!!

Whoa, time is a ticking!  We are quickly approaching #200.  

This weeks challenge is to use these three colors or colors close to them...and neutrals only!  Gasp, only?!! Yep. 

This weeks card inspired by February Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up!  Each month they send you a project kit if you are a member and usually it contains a super snazzy stamp set.  

I have several people in my life that need some extra love right now, so this card was inspired by them.  :)

Welcome to March!  It's another AYSI challenge!

How do you like this sketch?! Reminds me of a party! 

I chose to use some products from SU!'s Occasions catalog.  Quick and easy with the layers.  What you can't tell is my card is actually a small enclosure card, because sometimes you need a quick card to go with a gift.  Ya know like graduation! :)

Simple Stamping

How about some simple stamping this week?  Stampin Up! has been talking about getting back to the basics and simple stamping recently.  I think it's a great idea to slow it down a bit and just use the basics.  

Here is your challenge to figure out what you think of when you think of simple?! What will it be? 

When I think of simple I think of paper and ink.  Of course I had to color in the happy and add the butterflies, but at the end of the day I think of paper and ink.  Such a simple quick card that would be great to give to someone that needs a pick me up!

Are you ready?! For another Challenge?!

Your challenge is to use the above items to make a card!  Full disclosure I didn't have Poppy Parade to use, crazy right?! I felt the same inspiration and used Lovely Lipstick instead.  

Also, you should know that this was a quick and easy card, contained no stamping, but quick cutouts, paper and ribbon.

AYSI All about the metal

Do you love metallic? Gold or silver?  

Welcome to another challenge where it is a bit more open ended.  Your task is to use at least one metallic product in your design.  

Here is my card for the week.  I used some clear patterned paper with the gold polka dots, plus a gold clip, and gold thread.  Just the right amount of bling!

Welcome to 2019 AYSI! 

It's another great week with another great layout!  

Do you LOVE ruffles like I love ruffles on a card?!?! 

I used the ruffle embossing folder from Stampin' Up! to give the great texture on this card.  Plus, I added in so BRAND NEW Occasions products that just came out.  Ohhh, the butterfly products are amazing!

Do you like a good circle? I'm mean a good decorated circle? ;) Check out this great circle design! 

Something about circles just works for me.  I love polka dots and love this layout!  

I used some brand new products from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions catalog that comes out in January.  Ahh, gotta love perks of attending on stage!  The butterflies are actually designer series paper that match up with the new butterfly punch.  Love that!!

It's time for another AYSI! 

I attended Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event last week and was given this great stamp set and paper from the brand new catalog! 

Shades of Red

It's SHADES OF RED AYSI Style time!  

Your challenge is to only use shades of red in your project and complete your project in under 10 minutes.  Good luck to you!  

My card took me 9.04 to complete.  Let's just say I was sweating to get it done!  Using Lipstick Red, one of the new colors from Stampin' Up! on this project.  Turned out super cute I think.

Really can you believe that this is the #186'th design for AYSI?!?!  

Crazy. 

I'm loving all the ideas for this banner layout.  I can imagine so many things for it, BUT I can't wait to see what you do with it! 

I used some new designer paper from the tide collection by SU!  Then added some beads for a bit of whimsy.  There is a light texture to my card stock but it didn't show up very well.

Welcome to this weeks challenge!  This week you are to use only the colors below and neutrals.  Are you ready?!? 

I decided to be inspired by the sea this week!  

back to basics

As You See It Challenge is heading BACK TO BASICS!  This weeks challenge is to only use the basics: Paper, Ink, and Stamps!  That's it!  

I had to resist adding ribbon to this card!  It was tough but I made it through.  I used the new background plaid stamp from Stampin' Up! and a mix of other stamps from them.  Using a masking technique I made the circle so that I could stamp in the center of it.  

Can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

AYSI Challenge 

How many of you need to make some new birthday cards?  I do and I'm challenging myself to make gender neutral cards that I will have ready to go, no matter who needs them.  

This card may lean it's way more towards a youthful card (which I need to make several of).  Today I tried out my stamp-a-ratus, it's super slick and useful!  I ended up using it to try to keep the candles at the same level but wanted the casualness of not the same spacing.

Check out this zig zag layout!  What a fun design that can be used so many ways. 

I changed it up a bit with an old edger die that I had laying around since I couldn't seem to locate my zig zag one.  I've been playing around with mix and match patterns a lot lately.  Something they work and sometimes they don't.  I feel this one works but if I was to do it again I may change it up.

AYSI Challenge

What are you totally obsessed with?! Chocolate? Coffee? Stamping? 

I am obsessed with KITS!  Specifically, Stampin' Up!'s inclusive kits.  Ya know the ones that have everything you need minus adhesive.  I'm currently traveling and brought a kit with me to work on while we travel.  

They are SO nice to work with, no paper cutting needed, everything it there and designed.  Just stamp color and assemble for this kit.  I even did it while sitting in an RV.

Welcome to AYSI!! 

Are you ready for another challenge?  I can't EVEN believe that it's #180 already!  

Of course make your design your own but use the layout as your inspiration.  

Using the Share What You Love suite was my inspiration for this card.  Of course now that I look at it I maybe should of made the bow ends shorter.  Does anyone else do that?  Think yep, that works and then looks at it again and goes hmmm...maybe not?!!!  Anyway lots of snazzy layers and textures on this card, can you spot them all?
