Sunday Technique: Thumping
This 6x6 page was made for a convention technique swap but here are the instructions in case you can't read the fine print, don't worry if you can't its really really small!
Thumping
1. Ink stamp with an ink pad.
2. Take a darker colored marker and start tapping or "thumping" on the image to add darker spots.Tap with the side of the marker to protect the tip of the marker from damage.
3. Continue to "thump" the marker on the image until you added enough spots to create a marbled look.
4. Huff (breathe heavily) on the stamp to re-moisten the inked image. Now stamp on the cardstock.
I inked up my stamp in Pretty In Pink, then used the Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write markers to "thump".
Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle
Ink: Pretty In Pink
Paper: Melon Mambo Card Stock, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper
Accessories: InColor Stampin' Write Markers, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch.
